At CamScanner Online, we believe your documents belong to you. Our application is built on an "offline-first" architecture. This means that when you scan, edit, or process a document, the operations are performed entirely within your web browser. We do not upload your documents, images, or extracted text to our servers.
2. Data Storage
Your scanned documents and application settings are stored locally on your device using your browser's IndexedDB storage. You have complete control over this data. Clearing your browser data or uninstalling the PWA will permanently delete these files from your device.
3. Analytics and Tracking
We may collect anonymized, non-personally identifiable telemetry data (such as page views or error logs) to improve the performance and reliability of the application. This data does not contain any content from your scanned documents.
4. Third-Party Services
Our site is hosted on Vercel, which may collect standard access logs (IP addresses, user agents) for security and operational purposes as per their privacy policy.
